Gerald Carley, Owner & Team Coach
Gerald started gymnastics as a teen at Wichita High School in Wichita, Kansas. He went on to compete in high bar and rings at the University of Kansas and represented KU at the NCAA Nationals were he finished 9th.  He set a high bar record in 1970 that still stands today!  While at KU, Gerald also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Secondary Education. Following a few years of  teaching in the Shawnee Mission School District,   Gerald opened Elite in 1973.  As a former competitor, it is safe to say Gerald’s entire life has revolved around gymnastics. He served as a member of the USAG Kansas State Board 1978-2011 and is a safety-certified Professional Member of  USAG.  In 1984, 1985, 1996, & 1997, Gerald was named “Coach of the Year” by colleagues in the Kansas City Gymnastics Association and in 1986 he was honored with the “Kansas Outstanding Contribution to Gymnastics Award.  Since it’s opening, Elite has trained gymnasts for State, Regional and National competitions as well as two gymnastics that went out to become NCAA National Champions.  Many Elite gymnasts have obtained scholarships at various colleges and universities.  In 1985, Elite was the first team in the state of Kansas to place first at all competitive levels for a State Meet.

Sierra Trussell, Special Events Director & Competitive Team Coordinator
Sierra has been a part of Elite Gymnastics since she started taking classes in 2000. She began competing for Elite in 2001 at the age of 9 and continued competing in gymnastics until she graduated high school. After high school she attended Kansas State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. While at K-State Sierra was involved in a number of activities including K-State Cheer, Gamma Phi Beta sorority, and coaching gymnastics. She is currently attending school in pursuit of a career as a Physical Therapy Assistant. In her free time, Sierra enjoys baking, running, reading and going to concerts.

 

 

Rebekah Gillette, Head Gymnastics Coach.

Rebekah has been coaching gymnastics for 16 years, spending time with every level from preschool all the way to Level 10 and Elite. Rebekah is USAG certified and has many accreditation’s in gymnastics and coaching. She was a gymnast growing up, as well as a high school and college cheerleader. Rebekah attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO and graduated with a  Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Work. Her most recent experience includes head coach for XCEL and USAG Level 6-8, Assistant Coach USAG levels 3-5 & 9-10 at Legacy Elite Gymnastics and head coach Xcel Levels and assistant coach USAG Level 3-10 at Spring Hill Gymnastics.  Rebekah was also recreational director for both gyms.

In her spare time Rebekah enjoys camping, horseback riding, singing, music and spending time with her puppies, Aston Martin and Harley Davidson. She is really excited to be joining the Elite Gymnastics organization and to become a part of the legacy they have built for so long.

 

 
Brady Holder

Brady Holder

Brady Holder, Aquatics Director
Brady has been in charge of the Elite Aquatics program since 2014. He began organized swimming at age 4, and continued competitive swimming through age 19.  Brady has 20 years experience teaching swim lessons and has coached three different swim teams.  In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts and seeing movies – especially anything that involves Star Wars.

 

 


Rikki Jane Earley, Recreation Director

Rikki is joining us from Springfield, MO, but originally from small town, Poplar Bluff, MO. She has been coaching gymnastics for 9 years, starting from ages 3 through 18, for both rec and team. She has been a gymnast since the age of 3, and also participated in jr high, high school, and collegiate cheerleading. Rikki also made the top 100 for The Voice in February 2017!

In her spare time, Rikki enjoys spending time with her dog-Kenai and cat-Stitch, attending concerts, singing, camping, hiking, and spending time with her family. She is very excited to start this new journey in joining the Elite Gymnastics family!
